“EU-Azerbaijan Business Forum 2020-2022” has the objective to strengthen the non-oil sector in Azerbaijan by improving the business climate and supporting in the economic diversification of the country. The main tasks of the Project are devoted to the promotion of economic cooperation between EU and Azerbaijan, strengthening awareness of the business climate and investment opportunities in Azerbaijan, and enhancing public-private dialogue.
The Project is implemented by COWI Belgium in collaboration with the Italy-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce, the Azerbaijan-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and InvestBaku.

The specific objectives of this contract are as follows:
1. Support creation of a structured public-private dialogue to promote economic cooperation
development between businesses from EU and Azerbaijan;
2. Strengthen awareness and knowledge of the business climate in Azerbaijan and investment
opportunities for the EU businesses;
3. Ensure EU visibility in promoting economic relations between Azerbaijan and the EU.

- Elaborate the EU Business Climate Report Azerbaijan 2020 and 2021;
- Organize the EU Business Networking Meeting (with the presentation of the EU Business Climate Report Azerbaijan) 2020 and 2021;
- Organize the EU-Azerbaijan Business Forum 2020 and 2021;
- Elaborate an in-depth analysis of a selected reform (for internal purposes);
- Organize sector-specific business missions in 2020 and 2021 outside of Baku.
