17/02/2021

The European Union has launched a new website, which provides detailed information on 131 EU-funded projects active in Azerbaijan.

“The EU4AZERBAIJAN.EU website opens the world of partnership. It presents in pictures, numbers and words the plenitude of implemented and ongoing projects aimed to help people. Visit, explore, benefit and give us your feedback! Let’s partner together for the better future, for Azerbaijan!” said Kestutis Jankauskas, EU Ambassador to Azerbaijan.

In addition to detailed project information, the website features an interactive map showing the impact of select EU supported interventions throughout the country. This feature will be expanded to more and more projects on a rolling basis.

The website will also provide regular news updates on projects, as well as a list of opportunities available via EU funding in both Azerbaijani and English.

The EU also announced a press contest for the Azerbaijani print, TV/radio and web media for content related to the EU-Azerbaijan cooperation with a goal to raise public awareness on the EU-Azerbaijan relations, EU interventions and their impact on the daily lives of people in Azerbaijan.

The event was livestreamed on the Facebook page of the EU Delegation. The rules of the contest will be announced on the new website and the Facebook page of the Delegation.
