Resilient Civil Society and Media respond to the Ukraine War

Təsvir
A consortium of People in Need (PIN), Prague Civil Society Centre (PCSC) and the Netherlands Helsinki Committee (NHC) aim to build the resilience of civil society and independent media in the Eastern Partnership (EaP +) region with the skills and financial resources to effectively respond to the needs of the conflict-affected population. The war in Ukraine affected actors in Ukraine and in countries in EaP+ region, such as Georgia, Moldova, Armenia, and Azerbaijan, as well as actors from Russia and Belarus. With the aim of reflecting the new situation, providing adequate support, empowering internal resources, addressing the needs of the affected population, and building resilience, the project provides Financial Support to Third Parties (FSTP) to a wide range of formal and informal civil society actors, independent media, journalists and media actors. The project activities also focus on the capacity building, mental health, and psychosocial support of beneficiaries.
Konkret məqsədi
The project´s objective is to contribute to a resilient civil society and independent media in and from Ukraine and EaP+ region empowered to respond to the evolving needs of those affected by the Ukraine war.
