A training was held within the “Strengthening Accreditation of Research Institutions and Quality Assurance process at doctoral studies level in Azerbaijan“ project
On November 18-19, 2021, training for pilot test of accreditation rules was held within the “Strengthening Accreditation of Research Institutions and Quality Assurance process at doctoral studies level in Azerbaijan” project funded by the European Union. The main beneficiary of the project is the Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Project is implemented by a consortium led by the “IBF International Consulting”.
The specific objective of the project is to introduce new mechanisms on accreditation of research institutions, and internal and external quality assurance processes at doctoral studies level in accordance with advanced European experience. The project covers activities in three directions including, drafting Rules on quality assurance processes and accreditation, capacity building and digitalization of accreditation process.
The training was organized for experts to conduct a pilot test of accreditation rules and as a logical continuation of the training workshops held on October 28-29.
The training held on November 18-19, covered the accreditation standards and procedures of research institutions (organizations), the roles of experts and other participants in accreditation and the use of best practices in the implementation of procedures.
