Setting up of a roadside service cooperative

Residents of Telishli, which is located 35 km from Imishli and 27 km from Kurdamir, had to travel this distance each time they wanted to shop to meet the daily needs of their families and to sell products produced on their own farms. At the suggestion of local residents, the European Union supported the setting up of a roadside service cooperative – a market for produce. Counters for 20 people were installed in the cooperative and renovation and landscaping works were carried out in an area of 250 square metres, a bathroom was built and a water tank and pump were installed. The roadside service cooperative was handed over to the residents of Telishli and the surrounding villages for use last year. In July last year, a meat fair was held to celebrate Eid.
