Make the world more beautiful starting with yourself

An individual survey was conducted to determine the psychosocial status of Ms. Lala (name has been changed to protect privacy), a resident of Samukh district, one of the target districts of the “SEEDS” project. Following the survey, it was determined that Lala was being subjected to economic and psychological pressure within her family setting. Lala participated in trainings on various topics organised for members of the Community Women’s Group by the SEEDS project and, in particular, took part in a hairdressing course. Lala went on to open the “Yagut” beauty salon in her village and started working as a professional hairdresser. She is currently teaching hairdressing to two students.
