On 10 September, the Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) in the Republic of Moldova organised a debate on academic versus extracurricular activities for young people. The event took place in the country’s capital Chișinău.
The event included a short training seminar on debating techniques, developing research and public speaking skills. Participants learnt about the ‘Young European Ambassadors’ initiative and the opportunities that the EU offers to young Moldovans.
The event was led by 14 YEAs and was attended by 20 young people.
The Young European Ambassadors initiative aims to foster cooperation and sustainable links between young people and youth organisations from the EU and the Eastern partner countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
