From 16 to 17 September, the European Training Foundation (ETF) will host an online conference to discuss the results of the fifth round of the Torino Process for the Eastern partner countries.

The Torino Process is a periodical assessment cycle measuring the effectiveness of vocational education and training (VET) in EU’s neighbouring countries. Launched in 2010, the five reporting rounds since then have provided an overview of progress in VET policy development, and helped to identify future priorities.

The recommendations of the Torino Process have shaped the next cycle of EU assistance for the Eastern partner countries, which will focus on supporting the reforms of their education and training systems. Investing in human capital development will be a strategic priority, with specific focus on the development of functioning lifelong learning systems.

The event will be livestreamed online.
