Eastern partner countries to compete in regional finals of ClimateLaunchpad 2020 competition

The green project competition ClimateLaunchpad is organising the regional finals for Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia, where the winners of the national finals in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine will be competing against teams from 51 countries.
The battle of the start-ups will be held online from 17 to 18 September. During these two days, participants will have the opportunity to spot and scout breakthrough clean-tech innovations before they’ve hit the market, become part of a global network of sustainability and green business experts and, finally, watch thought-provoking talks by leading climate change experts.

The ClimateLaunchpad competition is organised with financial support from the Green for Growth Fund and the ‘EU4Energy’ programme. The winner will receive a cash prize of €10,000 and the chance to participate in the EU programme ‘Climate-KIC Accelerator’.
