IFRC in partnership with Meta organised a training for AzRCS under the EU-funded project
On November 26, 2024, IFRC in partnership with Meta Corporation organised a training session titled “META Platforms for the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement” for the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society (AzRCS) as part of the “Bridging the Gap between Community Needs and Local Capacities and Capabilities of Civil Society Actors in Azerbaijan” project, funded by the European Union (EU).
The session was launched by Alexander Mordovin, the National Society Delegate and acting IFRC Programme and Operations Manager in Azerbaijan and followed by Meta’s country partners, Burak Karagol, Sezen Yeshil, and Naz Degirmenci.
The first session covered in-depth overview of Meta platforms and highlighted best practices for utilizing the social media platforms effectively. In the subsequent segment, participants gained insights into advertising on the social media platforms, including strategies for enhancing the effectiveness of Meta ads and measuring the impact of advertising campaigns.
The session gained participants with valuable insights into enhancing their use of Meta platforms for communication and outreach.
