2022 EaP Civil Society Fellowships: Apply Now!
The Eastern Partnership Civil Society Facility has launched the 7th phase of its EU-funded fellowship programme, looking for civil society activists or civically minded citizens of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine to join its Civil Society Fellowship Network.
The main objective of the fellowships is to support those who demonstrate a deep commitment to leading positive social change in their communities, building Fellows’ capacity to constructively engage with communities and authorities and contribute to reforms in the EaP countries.
The selected candidates will be provided with tailored training and coaching, €5,000 to implement activities, and networking opportunities.
There are two types of Fellowship: Community Engagement Fellowships and Civic Digital Fellowships (specially designed for IT experts such as software engineers, data scientists, designers who use technology to benefit the community).
The call is open for all citizens from the Eastern Partnership countries, over the age of 18, with good English language skills, with a proven commitment to civil society, activism, and civil leadership, or a desire to develop technological solutions for community needs.
The deadline for applications is 15 October 2022. Fellowships will indicatively be awarded in January 2023.
The project has administered the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Fellowship programme since 2017, with 20 young civil society activists/leaders selected each year. The programme is now entering an expanded phase, with the aim to identify and support a further 120 Fellows over the next three years.
